Business Development Coaching and Training

Harvey Global works with both individual and groups of lawyers to provide one-on-one business development coaching based on proven strategies and techniques. The coaching program includes interviewing and assessing current knowledge, skills and needs of the lawyer, then planing an individualized program for refinement of skills and to drive business development results. Dave Harvey also facilitates and conducts business development training for groups of attorneys — from associate level to senior partners.

Law firms seek to attract and retain laterals as a key part of their growth strategy. There is often not a disciplined process and ongoing support for new laterals once they join a new firm. The result: more than half do not remain with the firm for more than two years, costing firms from 200-400% of the attorney’s actual compensation.
